Vercel
The platform behind Next.js that turns a git push into a preview URL and a global production deploy.

Best for
Frontend teams that want preview deployments per pull request without running their own edge infrastructure.
Why it deserves attention
Vercel connects a repository, builds each branch, gives every pull request its own preview URL with comments, and promotes merges to production on a global edge network with automatic TLS and image optimisation. It is also the company behind Next.js (and now markets itself as infrastructure for coding agents), so framework features such as incremental static regeneration, edge functions and streaming land there first, and the dashboard covers logs, analytics and rollbacks in one place. The Hobby tier is free for personal projects, Pro is a flat per-seat fee. The caveats: bandwidth and function-invocation costs can surprise you at scale, some workloads lock you into its conventions, and teams with strict data-residency needs may prefer Cloudflare or self-hosting.
