GitHub CLI
GitHub's official command-line tool for pull requests, issues, and Actions.

Best for
Developers who would rather stay in the terminal than open GitHub in a browser.
Why it deserves attention
The gh CLI covers the tasks that used to require a browser: create and review pull requests, triage issues, check Actions runs, cut releases, and clone repositories with the right auth. It supports extensions and exposes the API, so scripts can automate almost anything. It is not a Git replacement, and some complex review or project-board work is still easier on the web.
