YabUnderrated

A free WebKit browser that keeps Arc's spaces and pins, then lets your own Claude or ChatGPT work in your tabs.

Best for

Former Arc users on macOS who want the same navigation habits without handing their AI bill to another subscription.

Why it deserves attention

Yab rebuilds the parts of Arc people missed: Spaces, pinned tabs, Peek, Split View, the command field, and a one-step import of Arc's spaces, pins, passwords, and history. It uses the WebKit already on the Mac, ships as a roughly 40 MB app, blocks ads and trackers with uBlock Origin lists, and supports Chrome extensions. Its AI runs on the Claude or ChatGPT plan you already pay for, with no Yab account or separate AI bill, and Claude Code, Codex, or Cursor can drive tabs through MCP or the yab command. The Mac app is free and requires macOS 15.4; the iPhone version is still a TestFlight beta, and some Arc habits or extensions may not map one-to-one.
