Video UseUnderrated
Agent-driven video editing: drop footage in a folder, chat, get a finished cut.

Best for
Creators who already work with coding agents and want rough cuts, captions, color, and overlays without touching a timeline.
Why it deserves attention
Video Use is an MIT-licensed skill plus helper scripts from the Browser Use team, with more than 30,000 GitHub stars. You point Claude Code, Codex, or another shell-capable agent at a folder of raw takes; it transcribes and removes filler words and dead space, adds 30 ms audio fades at cuts, applies consistent color grading through ffmpeg chains, burns styled subtitles, and generates animation overlays with HyperFrames, Remotion, or Manim in parallel sub-agents. It checks the render at each cut boundary before showing you the result and keeps notes in project.md for the next session. The trade-off is that there is no timeline UI, output quality depends on the model and your prompts, and transcription plus some overlays need an ElevenLabs API key.
