Best for

People who want a calm, account-free daily view instead of a backlog spread across Reminders, Calendar, and Notes.

Why it deserves attention

ThisDay starts from today rather than an undated backlog: tasks, events, notes, voice memos, photos, habits, and places all sit on one timeline, and every item can carry a reminder. It needs no account and syncs through the user's own iCloud, with no vendor server holding the data. Version 2.0 adds Liquid Glass, iPad, Apple Watch, and a Mac app, while the iPhone app remains the center. It comes from independent designer Agustín Dell Aquila, is free to try for 21 days, then costs $14.99 once for iPhone, iPad, and Watch, or $34.99 for the Mac app ($24.99 for iOS owners), with no subscription. The trade-off is a deliberately small ecosystem and no web or Android app, so it suits Apple-only users who want one daily surface.
