Terminal BrowserUnderrated
A real browser that runs inside a terminal pane, scoped to the tab and controllable by your coding agent.

Best for
Developers who want localhost, HTML plans, and agent-driven browser checks without leaving the terminal.
Why it deserves attention
terminal-browser runs a real Chromium session inside a terminal pane instead of rendering a fake text approximation. A command opens a URL, a local dev server, a static HTML plan, or a remote service over SSH, and splits it beside the agent. The CLI exposes snapshots and actions so Claude Code, Codex, or another agent can inspect and drive the page, while point-and-click sends an element's screenshot and source location back to the agent. It works with Ghostty, Kitty, cmux, Herdr, tmux, and more than 50 terminals, installs with one curl command, and is MIT-licensed with about 4,500 GitHub stars and commits through November 2026. The trade-off is a keyboard-and-terminal workflow: complex sites still need a normal browser, and the project is only a few months old.
