KeroUnderrated
A cross-platform terminal built for coding agents, with sessions that survive quitting and a sidebar that shows who needs you.

Best for
Developers running several Claude Code, Codex, or dev-server sessions at once.
Why it deserves attention
Kero runs every session inside kerod, a small daemon, so quitting the window leaves Claude Code, Codex, tests, and dev servers running; reopening restores panes and scrollback. Each pane reports working, waiting, idle, error, or exited, Cmd+J jumps to whichever needs you, and notifications fire when an agent finishes or blocks. Sessions group by project, with remote hosts over SSH, Tailscale, or WSL in the same sidebar. Terminals render through libghostty, so Ghostty themes and config keys work, and the kero CLI lets agents start sessions, split panes, type, wait, and read screens. MIT licensed, about 1,400 GitHub stars, and actively released; it is a young app, so expect occasional rough edges.
