Navicat
A polished, heavy-duty database GUI that handles MySQL, Postgres and a dozen other engines.

Best for
DBAs and backend teams who move between several database engines and want one consistent GUI.
Why it deserves attention
Navicat wraps MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQLite, Oracle, SQL Server, Redis, MongoDB and cloud services into one commercial client with a fast grid editor, visual query builder, ER diagrams, data transfer between engines, scheduled backups and a schema comparison tool. The UI has been refined over twenty years and is still noticeably smoother than most open-source clients on very large tables. It is sold as a perpetual licence per edition with a 14-day free trial, and every major platform has a native build. The downside is price and licensing: it is the most expensive option in this category, and teams should compare DBeaver and TablePlus before committing.
