DbGateUnderrated
A free, open-source database manager that handles SQL and NoSQL engines in one desktop or browser app.

Best for
Teams that want a light DBeaver alternative and occasionally need Mongo next to Postgres.
Why it deserves attention
DbGate connects to MySQL, MariaDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server, Oracle, MongoDB, Redis and SQLite from one app, with a fast data grid, SQL editor with autocomplete, schema comparison, data import/export to CSV, Excel and JSON, and visual query building. It runs as a desktop app on macOS, Windows and Linux, or as a self-hosted web server so a team can share connections. GPL-licensed with about 7,000 GitHub stars and a paid premium edition for extras. The trade-off: polish and edge-case coverage trail DBeaver and Navicat, the plugin ecosystem is small, and very large result sets need care.
