Why it deserves attention

v0 turns a description or a screenshot into React and Next.js components, then lets you refine them in a chat or visually in Design Mode, sync the result to GitHub and deploy to Vercel. Templates cover landing pages, dashboards, forms and components, and the generated code is ordinary Tailwind and shadcn/ui rather than a proprietary format. The free plan is real but limited to a handful of messages a day; Plus and Business add credits, model choice and collaboration. The trade-off is fit: it is happiest inside the Vercel and Next.js stack, output still needs review before production, and heavy iteration burns credits.
