Sentry
Error monitoring that shows the stack trace, the release and the user behind every crash.

Best for
Teams shipping web or mobile apps who need to know a crash happened before users tweet about it.
Why it deserves attention
Sentry captures exceptions and, with tracing enabled, slow transactions and failing spans, then groups them into issues with stack traces, breadcrumbs, release and environment tags and the affected user count. It links straight to the commit that introduced a regression, supports alerts into Slack or PagerDuty, and has SDKs for nearly every language and framework. The core is open source and self-hostable; the hosted free tier covers small projects and paid plans scale by events. Caveats: event volume pricing grows quickly on noisy projects, sampling needs tuning, and the self-hosted install is a substantial Docker/Kubernetes deployment to maintain.
