Why it deserves attention

Minshot covers the whole sharing loop: capture an area, window, element, or scrolling page; annotate with arrows, numbered steps, and blur; add a background or iPhone frame; then compress to WebP, JPEG, or PNG. Short recordings get trimming, zooms, on-device captions, and GIF export. It is native, menu-bar fast, and local by default. The free tier allows five screenshots per day, and a one-time Pro license removes that limit; it is macOS 14+ only and less established than CleanShot X.
