Best for

People who want bookmarks, read-later, and archived snapshots in one private place.

Why it deserves attention

Linkwarden saves links with tags and collections, archives a readable copy and a screenshot, and can preserve the page as PDF for links that disappear. It supports collaborative collections, public sharing, browser extensions, iOS and Android apps, and full-text search, and runs via Docker with PostgreSQL. It is AGPL-3.0 with 20,000 GitHub stars, and self-hosting is free; a hosted cloud plan is optional. It overlaps with Karakeep, so choose by workflow: Linkwarden leans toward archiving, Karakeep toward AI tagging.
