Layerwise runs Codex and Claude Code on your machine, keeps each project in a local folder, and gives you a live preview, release history, rollback, and GitHub export. Published apps get a database, file storage, sign-in, transactional email, analytics, and a custom domain, all paid from one monthly credit balance. You can start free with one public project, and Pro includes ten private projects and ten team members. The trade-off is that hosting and email run on Layerwise's platform, so very custom infrastructure or strict data residency needs a different stack.
