Git on the GoUnderrated
Real Git repositories, commits, branches, and GitHub pushes on an iPad or iPhone.

Best for
People who sketch, write, or edit on an iPad and want version history without going back to a laptop.
Why it deserves attention
Git on the Go creates a normal repository inside the Files app, picks up edits from other apps, and provides staging, commits, branches, diffs, history graphs, remotes, and GitHub sign-in with private repositories. It supports Git LFS, works offline for everything except fetch and push, keeps tokens in Keychain with an optional Face ID lock, and has no account or analytics. One purchase covers iPad and iPhone, and updates are included. The trade-off is GitHub-only hosting for now, pulls are fast-forward only, and merging with conflict resolution is still on the roadmap.
