DaytonaUnderrated
Spin up secure sandboxes in milliseconds to run AI-generated code, with SDKs for Python, TypeScript, Go, Ruby and Java.

Best for
Teams whose agents write and execute code and need isolated, disposable compute with sub-second starts.
Why it deserves attention
Daytona is infrastructure for running code you did not write: create a sandbox from an SDK or API, execute processes, move files, clone repos and snapshot the state, then throw it away. Sandboxes start in milliseconds, can run Linux or Windows, and bill by the hour for vCPU and memory — about $0.05 per vCPU-hour — with $200 of free compute to start. The open-source core has more than 70K GitHub stars, and SDKs cover Python, TypeScript, Ruby, Go and Java. GPU machines are available when agents need them, both preemptible and on-demand. The caveats: it is infrastructure, so you own orchestration and cleanup; GPU prices vary widely by card and availability; and the product has moved fast enough that docs and SDKs occasionally lag each other.
