CryptomatorUnderrated
Client-side encryption that makes any cloud folder safe to sync, with filenames encrypted too.

Best for
People who keep sensitive documents in Dropbox, Google Drive, or OneDrive and want the provider to see only ciphertext.
Why it deserves attention
Cryptomator creates an encrypted vault inside a normal cloud folder and mounts it as a local drive, encrypting file contents and names before the sync client ever sees them. It works with Dropbox, Google Drive, OneDrive, iCloud Drive, and any folder-based sync, and the desktop apps are free and open source under GPL-3.0. Mobile apps are free to read but require a one-time purchase to write, the desktop apps have about 16,400 GitHub stars, and unlocking depends on your password or recovery key. Performance is lower than an unencrypted folder, and losing both password and recovery key means the data is unrecoverable.
