SoftBestsCraUnderrated
A free, open-source Arc replacement for macOS with spaces, pinned tabs, split view, and one-click Arc import.
Best for
Arc users who like the sidebar workflow but do not want to move to Dia or lose their spaces.
Why it deserves attention
Cra rebuilds Arc's core ideas as an independent SwiftUI browser: a sidebar of spaces, pinned tabs, favorites, an archive, split view, and Arc-style shortcuts. It imports your Arc spaces, tabs, and favorites in one step, and keeps everything local with no account. It is MIT-licensed, free, and under active daily development with a few hundred GitHub stars. It is early, needs macOS 14 on Apple silicon, so expect missing edge-case features and less hardening than Safari or Chrome.
