ClipAuditUnderrated
A Mac clipboard manager that detects API keys and secrets, then hides them from clipboard history and shell tools.

Best for
Developers who copy tokens, connection strings, and credentials all day and do not want them logged.
Why it deserves attention
ClipAudit watches the clipboard for more than 700 kinds of API keys and secrets, keeps them masked until you deliberately reveal them, and stops other clipboard managers such as Raycast, Alfred, Paste, and Maccy from storing the value. It also hooks into zsh, bash, fish, Nushell, PowerShell, and xonsh so secrets do not land in shell history. The app stores history locally, includes the Swift source, and runs a 14-day trial. The trade-off is one Mac per licence, macOS 14 or later, and the secret detection is pattern-based, so unusual formats can still slip through.
