YaziUnderrated
A fast terminal file manager with async I/O and inline previews.

Best for
Terminal users who want to browse, preview, and batch-rename files without leaving the shell.
Why it deserves attention
Yazi is written in Rust and does file operations asynchronously, so scrolling through large directories does not block the interface. It previews images, videos, PDFs, and archives in the terminal, supports Vim-style keys, and can send selected paths back to the shell. Configuration is spread across TOML files and plugins, which is flexible but takes some setup before it feels personal.
