## Best for

Mac users who move files to servers and buckets often and are tired of generic FTP tools.

## Why it deserves attention

Transmit connects over SFTP, FTP/TLS, S3, WebDAV, Backblaze B2 and Google Drive, then mounts those remote locations so Finder can browse them like a disk. The transfer queue is fast and resumable, sync compares folders both ways, and Panic Sync keeps favourites across Macs. Editing a file opens it locally and uploads on save, which makes it usable for quick server-side fixes. It is a one-time purchase for Mac, with a separate iOS app. The trade-off: it is closed source and paid while Cyberduck is free, and very large syncs still deserve a dry run before you click go.
