Best for

People running several coding or operations agents who need to see what each one is doing and what it costs.

Why it deserves attention

Paperclip is a Node.js server with a React UI that treats agents like staff: you define the company, assign goals and tasks, give each agent a budget and skills, and watch work move through a shared board. It connects to Claude Code, Codex, OpenClaw, and other runtimes through adapters, keeps an audit trail, and runs locally or on your own server. It is MIT licensed, has roughly 110,000 GitHub stars, and ships changes daily. It is still young and assumes you are comfortable running a Node service and managing API keys.
