## Best for

MX Master and MX Anywhere owners who want button remaps without Logitech's cloud software.

## Why it deserves attention

Mouser speaks Logitech's HID++ protocol directly and remaps buttons, gestures, DPI, and scroll behavior locally, with the best coverage for the MX Master and MX Anywhere families plus detection and fallback UI for other models. It has no telemetry, no cloud component, and no Logitech account, ships portable builds for macOS, Windows, and Linux, and is MIT-licensed with about 5,300 GitHub stars. Coverage outside the MX families is uneven, some advanced Logitech features are not implemented yet, and the project is young enough that the roadmap still lists core gaps.
