## Best for

Mac users who lost Launchpad in macOS Tahoe and want a native app grid instead of rebuilding the habit around Spotlight.

## Why it deserves attention

LaunchOS restores the Launchpad grid Apple removed in macOS Tahoe, with a native AppKit build, 120 Hz animation, the old folder and page layout, and an importer for the layout you already had. It launches from a global hotkey or F4, supports trackpad gestures and hot corners, lets you customize the grid, rename or hide apps, and batch-uninstall them. The Basic plan is free; Pro is $11.99 for one Mac with lifetime updates, $18.99 for two Macs, or $35.99 for five, and includes a 7-day trial. It requires macOS 26 or later and is distributed outside the App Store, so Gatekeeper approval and Paddle licensing are part of the setup.
