ItsycalUnderrated
A tiny menu bar calendar that shows your schedule without opening Calendar.

Best for
Mac users who want the date and upcoming events one click away without a full calendar window.
Why it deserves attention
Itsycal puts a compact month calendar in the menu bar, shows events from the macOS Calendar, and lets you create events with a quick natural-language field. You can customize the date format, first weekday, event list length, and appearance, and it stays out of the way until clicked. It is MIT-licensed, free, and small. It is not a full calendar client: it reads from Calendar.app, editing and scheduling complex events still happen there, and it does not sync accounts on its own.
