## Best for

Heavy feed readers who subscribe to more than they can keep up with.

## Why it deserves attention

Folo, the renamed Follow, collects RSS, X, YouTube, podcasts and newsletters into one timeline and layers AI on top: daily summaries, automatic translation and actions that route a post somewhere useful. The client is open source with about 39,000 GitHub stars and ships for macOS, Windows, Linux, iOS, Android and the web, with lists, inboxes and per-feed rules for triage. The free plan covers 150 subscriptions and three AI summaries a day; more feeds and unlimited AI start at about $4 a month. It is a hosted service, not self-hostable, and the AI features are the part you pay for.
