Diffusion StudioUnderrated
An open-source video editor where every edit is real code your agent can read, write, and render.

Best for
People who want to edit video alongside a coding agent, or hand the timeline over entirely.
Why it deserves attention
Diffusion Studio combines an infinite canvas, a professional timeline, property inspectors, built-in effects and audio, and transcription in one workspace. The project behind it is a codebase rather than a binary format, so Claude Code, Codex, or another agent can open the project, make edits, and render the result; dapi and agent skills expose the same workflow from the terminal. The editor itself is free and open source (MPL-2.0), with unlimited projects and exports up to 4K; AI generation, analysis, and transcription use credits under a freemium plan. It runs on macOS, Windows, and the web, and is about 3,500 stars strong.
