ArionUnderrated
On-device voice input for Mac and Windows that types Chinese, English, or both at your cursor.

Best for
People who dictate in Chinese and English at work and do not want their audio sent to a cloud service.
Why it deserves attention
Press Option-Space in any app and speak; Arion recognizes the speech on the device, keeps a draft in a floating pill, and types only the finished sentence where the cursor is. It handles Chinese and English in the same sentence, works offline after a one-time model download, learns from corrections with encrypted on-device storage, and includes an offline Pinyin input method. Optional local or connected models can polish wording, and the app and relay are AGPL-3.0 with a self-hosting path. The trade-off is that it is still at version 0.1.1, the Windows build is a preview, and hosted sync is not generally available yet.
