AlDenteUnderrated
Set a charge limit on your MacBook and stop the battery from sitting at 100% all day.

Best for
MacBook owners who keep the laptop plugged in at a desk most of the day.
Why it deserves attention
AlDente caps charging at a level you choose, so a MacBook that lives on a desk is not held at full charge for hours, which is the main driver of battery wear. The free version covers the charge limiter; Pro adds discharge, sailing mode that lets the battery float between two limits, heat protection, calibration, MagSafe LED control and scheduling. It works on Apple silicon and Intel MacBooks and is distributed both directly and on the Mac App Store. It only makes sense for laptops, the benefit depends on how you actually use the machine, and the advanced modes sit behind a paid licence.
