## Best for

Designers who want independent, commercially usable typefaces without digging through foundry sites.

## Why it deserves attention

72pt collects 886 free typefaces from more than 500 independent designers and foundries, each cleared for personal and commercial work and credited by name. You can set your own word, paragraph, pangram, numbers, or symbols in every face, inspect the full glyph grid, and get six pairings with an explanation of why they work. Project folders keep candidates together, one click installs a font into Figma, Keynote, and any app with a font menu, and the catalogue updates weekly. Browsing is free; Pro is $14.99 once and unlocks installation, written previews, project suggestions, and Apple Intelligence shortlists. It runs on iPhone and Mac. The trade-off is a curated library rather than a full foundry store, and installing fonts requires Pro.
